Environmental responsibility isn’t just a slogan for us – we’re proud to be a green, environmentally friendly facility, committed to clear procedures, full transparency, and reducing resource use.

Best Cardboard is certified to the 14001 environmental standard and the FSC rainforest conservation standard.

Sustainability is built into every step of our corrugated cardboard production. As one of Israel’s leading manufacturers, we work to reduce air, soil, and water pollution through advanced wastewater management, efficient use of water and energy, and on-site treatment systems such as a wastewater treatment facility (WWTP). We recycle our paper waste and purchase our paper rolls exclusively from FSC-certified suppliers. To maximize impact, we integrate advanced systems across the plant that help us reduce resource consumption and minimize waste throughout the production process.

Our Impact So Far

We recycle 100% of our cardboard waste and use 87% recycled paper – reflecting our commitment to environmental protection and responsible resource use.
Our packaging materials – paper, adhesive, and ink – are made from environmentally friendly inputs.
We use green energy and work continuously to reduce electricity and water consumption.

What Else Are We Doing to Protect the Environment?

Waste and wastewater management – We built a full system designed to maximize recycling of trimming waste and reuse industrial wastewater.
Wastewater treatment facility – Treats ink-contaminated water used in printing, improves water quality, and enables reuse, or safe discharge to the municipal sewer system.
On-site power generation (cogeneration) – Our electricity is produced through a cogeneration system that generates power while efficiently capturing heat released during the process. The goal is to produce high-pressure steam and reduce our reliance on natural gas – helping lower greenhouse gas emissions.
Responsible paper sourcing – We purchase paper sourced from sustainably managed forests and work only with certified suppliers.
